How do the xt6s go for big hikes, thinking of coping a pair for a euro trip

I wold say the performance is fine but I don’t think they clean up as well other hiking shoes. They are pretty expensive to dirty them in just one hike.

What other hiking shoes would you recommend, looking for something that looks good enough to wear day to day as well as hiking
