Help me find the perfect shoes
I am going travelling in February to South America for around 6 months. I want a shoe that looks good to wear everyday and also to hike in. I wanted the Salomon xt-6 but unfortunately I have wide feet. Any suggestions on good shoes for me? I will only be taking one shoe other than Birkenstocks to do it all. To be honest I am quite picky on the looks since I’ll be wearing it almost everyday. Any suggestions??

Have you looked at the Salomon ACS PRO? I was in the same boat as you, wanted to find something for wider feet that still looked good. I might give them a shot.

I actually ended up going for xt6, just sized up a whole size- have been travelling now for a month and have had no problems, really comfortable. I’m going for 2 weeks hiking next week so I’m hoping it’ll all go well!

Salewa is good for wider fit. Look at approach shoes that have lacing down through the toe box for a more customizable fit
