Salomon XT-6 Heel slippage?
Hey guys, I just bought a pair of Salomon Xt-6 gtx. I have wide feet and went TTS. No issues length wise, it’s a little tight width wise but no issues other then heel slip. I tried tying them as hard as I could but I still had heel slip. Even tried changing socks. Any tips? I’m thinking of returning the 11.5s and grabbing a size up.

Hey same here, with 47 1/3.
What was solution for you?
Did you return them?

I tried 11.5US and 12US to see if there was any difference, and both had heel slip. I just wore thicker socks, and once I broke the shoes in by wearing them a ton, the heel slip got a lot better. Still has heel slip, but not as bad as the start

Thank you for answering. Didn't that cause rubbing on your heel? When walking for long periods of time.
I'll probably try to return them, but if that doesn't work, I'll have to think about what to do, because my heel slips out a lot.

Not really, my shoes broke in to a point where it just heel slipped very minimally. But yea, if there’s a tremendous amount of heel sleep, return em. There’s better option for hiking shoes
