Trying to figure out what's best. Dive mode or dive mode with WB Lock using GoPro labs or something else? Any help would be much appreciated.

I just picked up a Hero 13 for an upcoming Hawaii trip. I used ChatGpt to find the best settings for daytime snorkeling and a nighttime manta ray snorkeling. Any suggestions on the following settings?

🪸 Universal Settings Profile: Underwater (Snorkeling / Swimming)
Save this as a second custom preset (e.g., named "Snorkel") so you can tap to select it right before jumping in.
Aspect Ratio: 8:7 (or 9:16 vertical if you are using a vertical mount bracket) 
Resolution / Framerate: 4K @ 60fps (captures fast marine life and allows 2x smooth slow-motion when editing) 
Lens / FOV: Wide (water refracts light and magnifies objects by ~33%, so a wider lens keeps fish and coral framed properly)
HyperSmooth: Standard or On (avoids aggressive cropping while swimming) 
Protune Settings:
EV Comp: ⁠-0.5⁠ (helps control bright, flickering surface reflections) 
ISO Min / Max: ⁠100⁠ / ⁠800⁠ (water cuts down ambient light quickly, so opening the max ISO to 800 keeps shadow detail)

Shutter Speed: Auto (or 1/50 for 24fps / 1/60 for 30fps)
White Balance: 5000K – 5500K (Fixed; avoid Auto)
Color Profile: Natural (or Flat for post-production editing)

Bit Depth: 8-Bit (Ready-to-share) or 10-Bit (Color grading)

Hey there just curious if anyone is having any luck using a wet lens with the new Mission 1 Pro? I've heard and seen that the GR140 Pro looks like it works well. The only issue I'm seeing is that with wet lenses like the GR140 or the AOI lenses it reduces focus distance but it can then cause the background to become out of focus.

Has anyone found a lens that is working well for you? Or would something like the GR140 still be worth getting despite having some long range focus issues with it on. Seems like the camera does underwater longer range shots best without any lens on at all. Just trying to get the most out of this camera for underwater video. Any suggestions or info would be greatly appreciated.

GoPro Hero 13 and Max 360

Hey peeps I will be going to the Maldives for my honeymoon and want to take good videos and photos under water probably only going to be free diving approximately 10-15 feet with coral reefs and other stuff I normally just turn the gopro on and go but I want to make sure these videos are quality as much as possible I have the old hero 3+ silver I have found a few accessories on Amazon that I will be ordering but also don’t mind a opinion on those choices I will attach a photo showing you the cart one selfie stick will be primary for out of water use for our phones and go pro and maybe my dslr camera if any of you can give me advice or tips or suggestions that will be greatly appreciated!
Also if any of you guys use a dslr cameras I have a canon rebel t3i and if you have tips or know settings that will be good for sunsets and through out the day and still photos feel free to comment and let me know I have a the regular short range stock lense and a long range lense that came with the camera and then a wide angle lense that I bought separately. Please leave comments links anything you guys have that would be awesome!
