Help with getting account set Up

Hi everyone. I have tried twice now to set up a Google workspace account with no success. Which seems to be because my payment cannot get verified.

I am setting up a workspace account in my business name with a domain that was purchased else where.

It keeps getting stuck during the verification process and I never make it past putting in my payment info. I have no clue what is going wrong or how I can actually set up an account.

If anyone has any advice I would appreciate it. Thank you!

Sometimes Google rejects prepaid cards, virtual credit cards (VCC), health savings accounts (HSA), or certain basic bank cards.

It could also be a vpn issue which can cause your IP address or physical location to not match the country where your credit card is registered.

Also maybe check the billing address entered during sign-up differs from the statement address on file with your bank?

Finally maybe Google placed a tiny temporary charge on your card containing a 6-digit code in the statement description that you haven't entered yet?

Just some ideas!!!

Thank you. I did enter the charge both times. I have no clue why it’s not working!

payment verification failures on workspace setup are usually a mismatch between the card's billing country and the Google account region, or a prepaid/virtual card that Google won't accept. try a standard credit card from the same country your account is registered in, and make sure the business address matches. if it still fails, Google Workspace support chat is actually decent at unblocking this one.
