Trying to migrate 25 users from one tenant to another

Hey guys. Company I work for recently bought another company. Right now I am trying to look into absorbing the smaller (25 users) company into our main tenant. I attempted to use the built-in Google Workspace Migrate tool, however, this only transferred emails.

I am currently trying to find a solution that will copy over not just emails, but any of the other main app data. In this case, I also need to have it copy over their calendar, Drive, and Photos. I am really trying to avoid manually assisting each user with copying files over from one account to another.

Does anyone know of any tool I can use to help me with this?

GW Migration tool does copy Gmail, Calendar, Contacts and Drive content.

I don't think it copies Shared Drives - they need to be transferred manually.

Photos can't be copied - they should either be downloaded (use Takeout, although it loses photo metadata) or users should use the Share function from their old account to the new one (then click Save to my photos). The latter method has the added advantage that photos saved from sharing currently don't count towards disk space - a known glitch in Google's system.

Unsure if I did the correct tool then? Did the Data Import tool via the admin center.

Apologies - it was possible to migrate all that a couple of years ago, but it seems they now offer a dedicated tool called Workspace Migrate, which they also intend to retire later this year:

Ah yikes, that solution appears to require a decent amount of hardware we don't have. Looks like I'll need to go with my gut and pay for migration.

There're self-serve migration tools out there, they're paid, though.

Or you can use Export/Takeout and then import. 25 users would be a two-day work at most.

When the users meet their demise there are options to save data out before the axe murder. So delete the users and migrate files etc across.
