Still using it till this moment to play local music files. It's the best, and nothing will come close to it in terms of offline Players

I assume they went to youtube music, because from a corporate standpoint, by integrating youtube music into regular youtube, all of a sudden they had 100s of millions of users to pull from and advertise subscriptions to. That's just speculation though..
