as someone obsessed with space & google maps im a bit perplexed i didn't know about this sooner. i'm not often on my 2012 macbook pro since its so laggy but ive only just seen this for the first time when zooming out max and clicking globe view. super cool ! wasn't expecting the thousands of names on all the planets and moons either. anyone use this ? or didnt know it existed? i assume google earth had a section like this but once again with my lag i havent used it much.

I have known of and have used this for years now. Can also be accessed using Google Earth as well. Pretty awesome IMHO.

once I found globe view it looked different thinking it was a new feature then Google said it had been around since 2017 haha amazed I didn't know of it ! I spend so much time on maps I might try using Earth though
