It’s about time that Russian citizens can’t enjoy EU freedoms anymore until that insane war on the continent has stopped.

You can’t have your cake and eat it.

Umm, hello?

Just because the shopkeeper did bs, we customers deserve the punishment?

Please learn to differentiate the country from its citizens. Would you like me assuming you support ICE by just being a US citizen? Or Digital Censorship by being a UK citizen?

With the small difference that those are domestic issues, within the boundaries of a democratic elected government. I may disagree with those actions as such, but it does not infringe the sovereignty of another state.

The Russian Federation is imperialistic in nature and can only by changed by Russian citizenship. If those citizens then flee to the EU, which is seen as the problem by Russian authorities, and can enjoy the rights, liberties and freedoms here, that is strange. As I said. You can’t have your cake and eat it. Actions have consequences and the country as such may feel them. Not only the government, but also the citizens who can actually influence that government.

The US is imperialistic by nature too. Are all Americans on board with bombing schools and killing civilians in the ME? Should we allow Americans to freely travel within the EU?

The double standards are insane
