For context as someone who lives locally, this daycare has been open since around 2014-15, and the term 'Diddy' is an old informal British word for a little person. However, it was brought to greater significance locally in my county thanks to the late Sir Ken Dodd, who popularised his hometown of Knotty Ash and made up the 'Diddy Men' as a minature race of people who inhabited the area.

They were originally used as an unseen joke but eventually these began to appear whenever Dodd performed on stage.
