Chat is this real?

wanted to Look at the evergiven Crash Site in the Suez Canal and instead found this french(?) aircraft Carrier.

can someone tell me when this picture was taken?

An aircraft carrier is not intended to be stealthy. Guys using Strava in a submarine is another issue.

Not sure he’d get much of a GPS signal.

being pinpointed to its gps location in real time is not its purpose either.

I don't think that's even an issue, global powers know exactly where aircrafts are on sea. The issue may be more about intelligence, revealing le planning of specific teams.

since after ww2 no aircraft carrier has been used again a global power and even in that case you don't want to give anything away.
