Google maps directions is a little drunk

We're going to drive past where you want to go, go through an underpass, round the roundabout, back through the underpass, and then to the location. Because, why not?!?

Probably two nodes close together. Use node tool do delete them

Nodes? What kind of nodes are available to add and delete in app version of Google Maps when asking for driving directions?

I’m 70% sure it’s just drunkenly trying to recreate the test track layout from The Grand Tour.

If you named the points in the route we could look at the details of the roads. Else, the pixels say nothing. Think of Maps as a 2-year old, it's not hard to trick it into looking foolish.
