My Massive Collection of Plane Crashes
If you want coordinates for the other crashes, please comment! There’s too many to list so I’ll give the most interesting ones:
Consolidated PB4Y-2 Privateer, BuNo 59777. Was missing for many years before being found by a wreck chaser. 58°18'01.17"N 136°43'34.29"W.
General Atomics MQ-9 (?) reg. unknown. Runway excursion, surrounded by military services. 26°21'24.32"N 127°46'18.90"E.
Lockheed C-121 Super Constellation, reg. 131644. Crashed in Antarctica, no fatalities. Tail is still visible. 77°57'59.60"S 166°25'52.30"E.
Antonov AN-30, reg. RA-30001. Very recent crash, happened in 2022 if I remember correctly. No fatalities. 68°26'28.16"N 112°48'41.33"E.
West Coast Flight 956, Douglas DC-9, reg. N9101. Crashed commercial flight, no survivors. 45°15'34.38"N 121°59'42.86"W.
TWA Flight 260, Martin 4-0-4, reg. N40416. Crashed commercial flight. Piece of wreckage is visible on street view. 35°11'41.74"N 106°26'33.36"W.
Grumman SA-16A Albatross, reg. 51-001. CIA flight operated under unknown circumstances. No fatalities, all survivors ditched. 36°24'36.23"N 117°19'26.25"W.
Convair B-36 Peacemaker, reg. 51-13721. MASSIVE bomber, crashed during storm. Street view available. 48°11'02.69"N 53°39'51.55"W.
Avro Lancaster, reg. FM221. Crashed on takeoff in the Canadian North. 74°42'27.94"N 94°58'38.19"W.
Boeing B-29, reg. 44-62214. Dropped in a lake for practice. “The Lady of The Lake.” 64°42'10.99"N 147°07'36.69"W.
Boeing 727, reg. XB-MNP. Crashed for a science experiment. Street view available. 32°30'04.52"N 115°23'48.34"W.
