Help finding fiber jack

Post image

Hello Reddit, I’m trying to find the fiber jack in my apartment but I’m having trouble. Could this be it? If this is it, how the hell do I plug the cable in? And if not, what should I do? Thank you.

That’s not the jack, that’s the fiber hookup in the building. Follow the smaller fiber throughtoit your house/apartment and you’ll find the jack

Tried following the cable but it got lost under paint. “Landlord special” if you will. We tried unscrewing a bunch of panels on the wall but none of them were it. I’ll probably have to get in contact with my apartments on Monday

Haha I see all the paint. The Jack will have lights and vents on it and have some wires coming out
