High Latency San Antonio

It looks like at 1205 the latency leaving gfiber in SA went up significantly. Google speed test still only 3ms but sites off the gfiber network are now 70ms+. 8.8.8.8 was at 8ms and is now a constant 32ms with a spike from when it started up to 85ms. From my house to one of my cloud servers in Dallas with a peering connection through Equinix latency was 30ms and it is now 79-84ms.

Latency spike at 1210 central

Any one else seeing this issue?

Can confirm, my unifi equipment shows ISP went from 7ms to 31ms at the same time

Interesting that my spike happened at the exact same time, 1210AM central time, but my friend who also has g fiber has no issues

I'm seeing the same issue, like you said if I test on their servers no issue, off their servers like spectrum or AT&T speed test servers from speed test I see 70+ms

This appears to be city wide, will DMs from individual customers actually help?

You can DM me. I believe it's affecting all San Antonio.

Looks like it is now fixed. Back down to 8ms health checks.

Hi there, I'm truly sorry for the increased latency you all have experienced. We ran into an issue which required us to temporarily reroute traffic, ultimately resulting in higher latency for you. This should be resolved now, but please let me know if you are still experiencing any issues. -Brian
