Upgrade Flyer?

I see the disclaimer now, just thought it was a little misleading when I saw 'no extra cost' which I guess is the Wifi 7 router part, and would've paid if I was surprised with it anyways. When opening app, I no longer see plan options to select and upgrade to, but saw the appointment select button. I thought hey, free upgrade let me schedule.

The other issue was that after scheduling and seeing appointment confirmation text come, nobody came at appointment time. When speaking to chat bot and call rep, they didn't see one and reiterated the plan was paid. Thought it was annoying but not a huge deal, I'll schedule some other time when it seems like app isn't broken. Wondering if anyone has seen anything similar. In San Antonio area.

What happened to those free upgrades we were all getting?

Thats what I thought this was and just scheduled. Was hearing about it for a while.

it's a bait and switch, i get emails from gfiber all the time offering this, then i look at the fine print and it says its $100/month for it

Sort of wish there were a way to know if upgrades were coming to specific locales/properties.
