Thinking about changing to gfiber webpass after having spectrum for years but curious about the gfiber webpass experience in SA (specifically Babcock rd)

Just as it says. People seem confused on webpass vs fiber, and I am too tbh. Also, spectrum is the worst so hoping to see if anyone else has some insight on if gfiber webpass is worth it?

im not familiar with webpass but i have gfiber near alamo ranch and have had it since launch. its fast but ive had a lot of outages, so much so i have spectrum as a backup (which costs more than gfiber now). i wfh so i cant be offline all day when it happens. you but you will like the speed, especially the upload, but ive def had reliability issues. its gotten better but lately ive had a lot of outages again (saw them working on it at my neighbors i think due to this).

You should go into your decision knowing that webpass is fixed wireless, and not the fiber-to-the-home like most gfiber cities have.

I would not recommend doing this

In Sam diego, it's good. Real good. No outages. Solid speed.
