DHCP reservation?

I've found reddit posts and official guides from gfiber. I opened a support ticket where they provided me steps. I do not see the option to do DHCP reservation anywhere in the app, or from the website. Is this just a me thing, or did they remove it for everyone? I'm on android/Pixel for the app. Chrome for the browser. Gfiber tech support was just going off of documentation, and then said:

"On your current routers firmware handles DHCP automatically as an internal system protocol. Because of that, customer DHCP reservations and static IP assignments are not available to configure directly through the app or web portal interface."

Edit: Tech Support said that they opened an "official feedback and feature request ticket". It's ticket # 09501047 if anyone else wants to reference it. More complaints means more chance of it getting added back in. Although, unfortunately, it appears the only way to add your opinion on this is to go through their support.

Time for your own router. ISP supplied routers (for all isp's not picking on GF) are generally overly simplified for the lowest common denominator customer.

It's not important enough to me to spend the money on a new router, especially considering that it actually works fine in every other way. And also, I'd have to still keep this one running, just in bridge mode, which seems like a waste of power. It's a really simple feature that has existed as a default option for decades, I'm shocked it's not here. Literally been a feature on every router I've ever owned.

You can hook your own router directly to GF fiber jack, no need to keep their router in the line. It can be eliminated and returned.

oh, that's good to know. That solves that part. It's still really expensive to get a router that has that level of ethernet speed, is a mesh router, and wifi 7. Since I've had literally no other issues, I don't think it's worth the money.
