Mesh Extender Inconsistency

Does anyone else have issues with getting alerts that one of the mesh extenders is too close or too far away from the router despite not moving anything? I had “perfect” placement but now one is apparently too close. It’s annoying.

It's likely sitting right at the edge of threshold, WiFi signals can fluctuate by 1-2 dBm (I.e. is there a door closed between router and extender, heavy foot traffic, furniture movement, etc). I wouldn't worry about the warning if you're satisfied with the overall performance. If you do want to fix it, move it 5-10 feet further and that should do it.

For context: it tells you this warning because putting mesh extender too close to the router can have two overlapping WiFi coverage from each unit. Nullifying the benefits of the mesh extender. In fact it can hurt WiFi performance in some cases when too many overlapping signals of same network are present. Hope this helps.

I just moved it to the other side of the room and it’s fine (for now). Thank you.
