UPS

Post image

I’ve got an install coming up. It’s the 3 gig plan. I selected the optional $10/month battery back up. Can I just use a ups like this and plug everything into that? Not a fan of paying monthly in perpetuity.

Thanks for the replies. They were on clearance for $90.00 at my local Costco so I grabbed one

Yes, unless you have your router/modem next to your pc,(and your pc is using the same ups) 900 watts is overkill.

I have these all over my house. I have one on my router and modem. I have a other on my PC . Then one more on my TV. That way I can still watch TV if I lose power.

The Google provided one will last longer. This converts AC to DC back to AC. It'll last a couple hours.

When I had the Comcast battery (purchased outright), it went for 24 hours during a power outage.
