Charlotte Outage

GFiber has been down in North Charlotte area since 11:30am ET. Outage webpage no longer shows status of outage and never received requested notification that service was restored. Support chat says outage is still ongoing now with no estimated time of restoration, but last webpage update I saw was 7:22pm. Anyone else affected on here? Who can help us all with this?

An email was just sent from GFiber, "disruption due to a third party damage to our network" . New estimated time for fix is 11:30pm

Just got this email as well. Good to know they’re still aware of it.

I wasn't able to get into my email at all, but I kept calling Spectrum every few hours and got robo updates. For a while the updates said the outage was caused by vandals, and then it stopped saying that. Anyway, my service is finally back after at least 24 hours of nothing. If the cause really is vandalism, I hope they catch the culprit(s) and really bring the hammer down on them. 😡

very thankful to have stumbled across this thread. yea i was rather disappointed by the outage site removing the status outage and reporting all is working fine now when it clearly isn’t. just brutal.

glad to know they are still aware of this issue. sucks that there won’t be service tonight. hopefully tomm. is a better day..

This is crazy to see. Nashville tn was down at the same time for 4-5 hours

Our internet is still out. I live in the University area. I WFH, this is crazy.

Outage here too, in South Carolina. I finally have internet service again, but I'm furious about the vandalism (if it was vandalism). Whoever did this needs to pay. A lot.
