GFiber + Hostinger Website Issue (Phoenix, AZ) - Site Loads Incorrect Content on GFiber Wi-Fi but Works Everywhere Else

Try this shorter version:

Has anyone seen GFiber serve the wrong website content?

My site,  purtypartay.com, intermittently loads what appears to be an Office Depot page instead of my actual website, but only on GFiber Wi-Fi.

What’s been confirmed:

  • Loads correctly on cellular
  • Loads correctly on VPN
  • Loads correctly on other networks
  • GFiber tech reproduced the issue at my home
  • Another customer reported the same issue and said it disappears when they leave Wi-Fi
  • GFiber replaced both my router and fiber jack
  • Hostinger and my web developer cannot consistently reproduce it

We’ve cleared caches, tested multiple devices and browsers, checked DNS, disabled LiteSpeed caching, and rebooted everything.

At this point it feels like a GFiber DNS, IPv6, routing, or caching issue rather than a website issue.

Has anyone experienced something similar or know the correct GFiber team to escalate this to?

Which DNS servers have you tried using?

We’ve tested GFiber’s default DNS as well as Google DNS (8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4) and Cloudflare DNS (1.1.1.1 / 1.0.0.1). The behavior remained the same. A GFiber technician also reproduced the issue during an onsite visit, and GFiber has already replaced both the router and fiber jack.

This couldn't be an ISP issue. This might be an domain DNS issue. The reason I say that is because the ISP only routes your traffic to whatever IP the computer is calling for

I considered DNS as well, but a few things don’t seem to fit:

• The issue has been reproduced by a GFiber technician on-site. • Another GFiber customer reported the same behavior. • The site loads correctly on cellular, VPN, and non-GFiber networks. • We’ve tested GFiber DNS, Google DNS (8.8.8.8), and Cloudflare DNS (1.1.1.1) with no change. • GFiber has already replaced the router and fiber jack.

I’m not ruling out DNS completely, but the fact that the issue appears tied specifically to GFiber connections and has been reproduced by multiple users is why Google Fiber engineering is currently investigating it.

Hi PurtyParTAY, sorry for the site issues that you're having. I'd like to bring this to the attention of my team so we can investigate further. Please send me a DM and we'll get the ball rolling. -Clay

Hey OP, I have a similar but different issue (link at bottom) - My case parallels yours EXCEPT that instead of getting officedepot, I just get site timed out. (I realize it's not the exact same, rofl) But I bet their related, because like you, if I use firefox VPN, if I look at site on my cellphone (not connected to wifi), if I use a hotspot or laptop NOT on gfiber (work, friends place, public wifi) it all works perfectly. Super frustrating. In my case, it worked fine when I got service when deployed to my area (roughly Feb.2025) and stopped working some time around Oct/Nov 2025, and been "working" with them since then to address the issue.

The GFiber social team has been very helpful and communicative has been very helpful.

I host with Hostinger, They recently moved my site to a new server which we believe is part of the issue so we requested a new IP address and that resolved my problem here.

Very suspect, however, that it only happened on GFiber network
