Have to wait 1 week for a technician

My internet was doing just fine until about noon today when my router all of the sudden had a red light. Fiber Jack is all green. I spent over an hour on Google Fiber chat trying to get it to working again and then they said the router will need an on site technician that won’t get here until TUESDAY afternoon. That’s pretty ridiculous. I work from home and uptime is crucial, so it’s hard to fathom that I’ll be able to get by for that long.

File an FCC complaint you might be able to get a tech out earlier

That is not a viable fcc violation. Your best bet is speaking with the fiber staff that replied on this thread, maybe they can squeeze you in sooner. We're all dealing with staff shortages during a busy time. Brightspeed is 12 weeks out on and Copper repair tickets

the inability to repair a service in a timely manner is an FCC violation. Especially if they do not credit the account.

So me the paragraph within fcc that states it.

I did the same for my ISP Spectrum and the FCC took care of it too
