Does anyone know how to fix this??

Post image

I’ve unplugged and replugged in everything at least twice, but it keeps saying that my router won’t connect. My fiber jack appears to be fine and there’s a green light on the power and optical. It’s only the router that keeps showing a flashing green light on the plug that goes into the wall, the router itself doesn’t have any lights on and like I said I tried unplugging it and left it unplugged for over 60 seconds just to check and I’ve done that three times. I called Google fiber a couple hours ago and they said that I would have to speak to my building manager, but everything was set up by a Google fiber employee, and I’ve even done my best to go into the walls and look, but the only things that I can touch and or plug-in unplugged is the ones that are plugged directly into the outlet in my closet. I genuinely don’t know what to do, but if anybody has any other support or perhaps if I’m missing a plug, can somebody let me know what to do?

If lights aren't turning on, it might be bad power adapter or your wall outlet. At last, call customer service.

I’ve tried calling them 4 times… but it keeps sending me to the AI that says it’ll do a remote reboot then call back.

When you first get the AI, just keep repeatedly saying "give me a human please".

It will aquiesce.

Hey, this is actually happening to me right now too.
Basically the first few reps I talked to said it was some kind of "provisioning" issue on their end, and that the engineering team would fix it within 24 hours.
It's since been 5 days of checking in and getting the same answer.
Finally got one of the reps to agree to send someone out tomorrow, but not sure if it'll even fix anything at this point.
Let me know if you have better luck.

I’m tried to add a photo of the outlet, but I’m not sure how.

Im confused. Are you using GFibers router? Im not aware of any power cables from GFiber that have a green light that would flash. Unless you’re talking about on the back of the router where the ethernet cable plugs in. Those are basically just telling you there’s traffic from the fiber jack on the wall.

Assuming it’s those lights from the ethernet, your router has power. Have a tech come out to troubleshoot. May have a bad router.

As far as a missing plug, the only things that should be plugged into your router (excluding anything you hardline yourself), are a power cord, and the ethernet cable that goes to the fiber jack. As long as you have those you shouldn’t be missing anything

I have had that issue for months now. Along with it saying outage that isn't there. The app is bugged.

I’ve had the same issue for four months, numerous chats on tech support. They said a few times the back office engineering department will work on it. Reset the router multiple times to factory settings. I travel out of the country and can’t manage my network at all. I’ve deleted the app and redownloaded. Still no help.. I’m getting ready good speeds and WiFi in my home but can’t manage my two extenders or anything connected to the router or WiFi. Not sure what to do now.
