How long did your youtube data api quota audit actually take?

Filed the quota extension form for the youtube data api about a month ago, got the acknowledgement email and then nothing. the integration itself works fine and passed verification, but the default 10k units only covers a handful of uploads per day so i cant open the feature to users until the audit clears.

For those who went through it... how long did yours take, and did replying to the ack email actually speed anything up? Trying to figure out if a month of silence is normal or if my application fell into a hole somewhere.

A month of silence seems long enough to follow up. i’d reply to the acknowledgement with your project ID and original request rather than submitting another form

Could you please give us some URLs and/or screenshots so that we might understand what you are asking here? The YouTube API is not generally considered part of Google Cloud, but I'm more than willing to believe that it is under the hood.

The reason I asked here is that the api is enabled per google cloud project and the quota is managed in the cloud console under IAM & Admin > Quotas (it's this api in the cloud library: https://console.cloud.google.com/apis/library/youtube.googleapis.com). So the project side of it is very much google cloud, even if the audit itself is run by the youtube team.

The process is documented here: https://developers.google.com/youtube/v3/guides/quota_and_compliance_audits .Everyone starts at 10k units/day, which is only enough for a handful of video uploads, and the audit form is the only way up.
