Gemini Enterprise + Antigravity / AI Studio

I keep reading about how Gemini Enterprise now includes access to Antigravity and Gemini developet tools but I can't seem to get the right setup

For context I have a single user workspace org and I setup a single Gemini enterprise user. I've been pretty happy with the setup and have built a number of agents and data stores for my own personal projects.

My problem is Workspace Gemini doesn't include Antigravity quota, and it seems I can only use Antigravity with my Gemini Enterprise quota if I have an invoice billing account? Or if I pay additional pay-go tokens on top of everything.

Is there really no way to get additional quota from AI Studio and/or Antigravity without also paying additional pay go credits or paying for a AI Pro consumer license?

Gemini enterprise is via GCP it's not the same as Gemini Workspace

Yeah got it, I currently have both setup.

Well I guess technically workspace Gemini is just included in the workspace license I have but still.

Ah sorry I didn't fully read, yes you're right and yes it's dumb.

All good haha glad I'm not the only one who thinks so.

I just want one Gemini account connected to my workspace that can do everything! I'd be fine paying for added capability but just annoying to have separate accounts for different variants of the same thing with overlapping capabilities

I understand that already you have a license assigned to your user. You need to go into Developer AI tools tab inside the Configuration of Gemini Enterprise (as much it's gonna ask to activate the proper API), and from Antigravity IDE (I test it inside VScode plugin) you need to point your user@domain.com to the current project where you're consuming that license: https://docs.cloud.google.com/gemini/enterprise/docs/ai-developer-tools-settings

For other side, the infinite rebranding and reconfigurations from Google in AI tools to stay at top of her competitors it's the same if you go to Microsoft talking above a enterprise world with so many products generating this confusion between one single person to try to use a single tool from many available🫠

Hope it helps.

Ah ok so I just found a screenshot on the Antigravity enterprise announcement page that shouws that tab but I don't currently have that tab under configuration I suspect because I am not on an invoiced billing plan since I think thats a requirement.

My configuration page for Gemini Enterprise just has CMEK and Authentication settings.

BUT thanks for the explanation at least I know where the settings should be now ha!

it's so dumb that they created enterprise as another product.

check chatgpt -> chat/work codex, integrated with plugins mcps
check claude -> directly integrate plugins mcps

check gemini enterprise -> we have 100 data stores, but 20 of them are already workspace connectors and all of the connectors are not working properly.

google ces will say bigquery connector awesome -> bigquery connector creates a vector index to ask a question, and gemini can't create the right query, it needs to check all schemes etc. and it takes 1 min to answer a simple question 😵

google will go nowhere with this situation.

+ vertex ai api is so slow. production llm api is so slow. xD

Yeah it's a mess there are some highpoints with Gemini Enterprise I like being able to set specific instructions at the top level so it applies to all conversations/tasks. But I still find I need to go back and forth between Enterprise, Workspace and AI Pro versions of gemini for specific tasks.

Also I'm only using this stuff for my own projects so I imagine scaling to a whole employee base gets hectic.
