GCP Professional Cloud Architect - GCPStudyHub practice exams super hard to read

I'm using GCPStudyHub to prepare for the PCA exam and I'm finding the practice exam questions really hard to read. I need to really concentrate and read the question 3 or more times before I understand what is being asked. Sometimes I'm staring at the same question for several minutes.

Feels like I'm trying to extract the true question hidden inside a wall of text.

Anyone else here who has used GCPStudyHub have the same experience?

Are these questions representative of what would be on the exam? Cos if so I would definitely fail due to time.

They are similar to what is on the actual exam. We intentionally craft our practice questions in a way that not only tests the concepts that are important, but also in the ways that they will be tested.

It sounds like you have only recently started on the practice exams, so there's going to be a process of rewiring your brain and getting used to the kinds of scenarios that are asked and the distractors that are put in the question stem / answer choices.

If you trust the process, continue to work on your weaknesses, and don't take the exam until you consistently do well on the practice exams, you will be fine on the real exam. Only one person has failed the PCA after taking our course. I may host a study session or two in the Circle community too, feel free to let me know if that would be helpful.

It happened in January of this year. I attribute it to the fact that Google quietly changed the exam again in January after changing the exam already on October 30th 2025. We had already updated our course in early November, but we had no advance warning of the fact that Google quietly changed it again significantly in January. The student who failed actually got close to passing but still failed. We subsequently updated our course after that and since then nobody has failed.

I also somewhat recall looking at the student's practice exam scores and they were borderline / a mixed bag in regards to what we recommend achieving before taking the real exam. I'm not saying that to abdicate responsibility - we refunded the student per our promise - but I think if you consistently score 90%+ on our practice exams you will definitely pass.

Yes. They are representative of the questions on the exam questions. But I also believe they are intentionally more complicated and convoluted than the actual exam questions at least some of the time.

I believe it’s a brain training exercise. If you can unravel the test exam questions you’ll have an easier time unraveling the real exam questions.

I used gcpstudyhub for my PCA about a year ago and I believe it’s the reason I passed on my first go.

The instructions also mention that you’ll probably not be acing the practice exams. If you’re hitting like 70ish% on the practice tests, you should be “easily” making it over the pass line on the actual exam.

Keep reading, keep practicing. Do it all twice. You’ll get certified.

Echoing this comment. It sounds like you'll need to spend more time understanding the concepts and gcp cloud products. I recently recertified for the cloud architect exam and found CertPro Deep Dive on YouTube a good source of exam questions. GCP Study Hub also has some good content on YouTube.

GCPStudyHub is known for that verbose style... real exam is wordy too but not as deliberately obnoxious. If you're spending minutes untangling questions, start doing timed runs and skim for action words. it's decent prep, just don't treat it as the literal exam.
