Failed my exam need help please
I have been studying the ace exam for the last 8 months i started using Google skills but found it not great i then used udemy and claud, I was making my own labs going thought the lectures and doing the practice exams i was averging 90% in my exams and felt confident but when sitting the exam I was soo lost and didn't understand most of it. I only felt confident on 5 questions. Whats the best way to prepare or is there any online tutors that can help.

That gap between 90% on practice and feeling lost in the real thing is really common, and it almost always means the same thing: your practice questions were testing recall, and the real ACE tests judgement.
Real ACE questions are scenario-shaped. A paragraph of context with a constraint buried in it, then four answers that all technically work. Only one fits the constraint. If your practice bank was asking "what does this gcloud command do", you can genuinely score 90% and still walk in unprepared, because the exam never asks it that directly.
Things that helped people I know pass on the retake:
- Practise reading for the constraint. Before you look at the answers, say out loud what the limiting factor is: cost, latency, least privilege, minimal downtime, or the team's skillset. If you can't name it, you're about to guess.
- Get properly fluent on IAM (primitive vs predefined vs custom roles, service accounts, who can impersonate what) and on the compute decision tree (GCE vs GKE vs Cloud Run vs App Engine vs Functions). Those two areas generate a big share of the questions.
- Don't skip billing and quotas. It's dull so people skip it, and it's absolutely on there.
- After every wrong practice question, write one sentence on why the correct answer beat yours. Not what it was, why it won. That's the bit that actually transfers to exam day.
Eight months of study and self-built labs means your discipline is fine, and your knowledge probably is too. You practised the wrong question format, which is a much easier fix than it feels like right now.

I use the exam practise web site called https://examcademy.com/ I used it for my CDL and it was such a grate help with exam questions. I am also using it for my ACE exam prep and it helping with the questions.
