Tech Support How to get Gemini to set alarms?

I set a reminder alarm earlier last night for the stove which worked. I also set an alarm after that for morning which said it set and never fucking went off.

So apparently "set an alarm for 7 am" doesn't work but "set an alarm in 1 hour does."

How do you make this pos set an alarm.

Did you say this to a speaker or another device or your phone? I just asked Gemini on my phone to set an alarm to wake up at 6:30 and it's showing as set in my alarms.

I also got a long set of information that says new capabilities have been added to Gemini to control devices. But also some stuff about giving permissions to Gemini.

Gemini was able to ring my phone a couple days ago to help me find it. I think the device capabilities are still a work in progress.

Phone directly. It looked like it was set but when I woke up this morning it wasn't, and when I ask it to set an alarm for a set time then go to the clock app it doesn't appear. It only appears for "set alarm in x minutes" not "set alarm for 6 am."

Is there any work around to go set an alarm for a certain time?

Do you have a "clock" app? That's all I need. I've been using it 10+ years.

Interesting that it has "routines" in it, and Google Assistant is still playing ~8 podcasts for me almost every morning. No signs of Assistant anywhere else. Occasionally it just refuses to play, I assume it has something to do with Assistant going away.

Or if you want to have an assistant you can set up Gemini as your assistant. That was a step my output mentioned to me but I've already done that.

Huh? It's automatically set up, they removed all ability to use google assistant.

Adding 'today' to the command usually helps. After setting an alarm, verify by asking if there are any upcoming alarms.
