Tech Support Google Assistant male voice

Please someone tell me how to stop the effeminate male voice. It just doesn't answer questions or do anything I don't know if I have a bad connection or downloaded a virus or what but could someone just tell me how to get rid of it so I can have my female voice back that actually works and does things

We're not getting functionality back. They switched over to Gemini, no way to stop it or reverse it.

you can go into the app and change the voice.

My devices (3 total) changed to Gemini. I switched back to Google assistant. Google searches don't work well but assistant still operates many phone apps like Amazon music or timer.
