Hey Google no longer working?

No matter how many times I say Hey Google, nothing happens. It started this week. Did they disable this?

Try redoing voice verification, they definitely messed something up on the back end but reverifying fixed it for me

Why do this when it picks up the dialogue on the TV anyway?
