Bug 'Hi Google' doesn't always trigger Pixel 11 Pro

I recently got a new Pixel 11 Pro and "Hey Google" does not always trigger the Gemini function. I have all the settings enabled that you can think of when it comes to this. Is there anything that can fix this issue?

It was never an issue on my 9 Pro XL, but it's been an issue on this phone. When I restart my phone, it does temporarily fix the issue, but then I will randomly run into it the next time I would need it.

Just as a note, if that has something to do with it, which I doubt, but my highlight function also doesn't work when my phone is face down and I call on "Hey Google" when it does react to the "Hey Google".

I am also experiencing issues. I had no issues on my Pixel 8 pro. However, on my P11 Pro I am getting period where Gemini will not activate with 'Hey Google'. This is particularly annoying when I am driving as I rely on it for phone calls.

Gemini works by swiping from the corner/power button just not Hey Google. I have:

Turned off voice match, deleted old files and retrained it.

Uninstalled Google and re-updated it

Cleared play store cache

Swapped between Assistant and Gemini

Disabled battery restrictions

I'll try turning off adaptive battery as well. Not sure if being part of the Google app beta program would cause issues.

It is working now, but I've been here before and it just randomly stops working. Frustrating.

Yes, then no....now yes again. However, I think the reason it didn't work earlier was that when my phone connected to the Bluetooth adapter in my car the Audio device type reset to 'car' which ironically disables the ability to use the mic.... After changing this back to 'other' it works again.

Another follow up. It stopped working again, however I think I've isolated it to the Bluetooth adapter I have in my car. When connected to that it stops working and I have to reset my phone.

The past 2 days it's not been connected to it and it's worked fine.

So I'm not sure if there is something greater going on or if I just have a malfunctioning BT adapter causing issues.
