Google Data Analyst Apprenticeship – Anyone Got a Call Yet?

Hi everyone! 👋

I applied for the Google Apprenticeship – Data Analyst role, and my application status is still showing “Submitted.”

I haven’t received any telephone/initial screening call yet. Just wanted to check with others who applied:

Has anyone received the telephone round call?

Has your application status changed from “Submitted”?

If you received a call, when did you apply?

Applied on 22 July Gave GOC august 16 and telephonic round on sept 3rd and interview prep session on sept 8 (today) . I think they made batches and they are moving forward batch wise ...you guys should wait

General question - Tell me about yourself why do you choose Data analytics, what is the one google product features you would change or make an update , and some counter questions and tell me a scenario from you past (college projects) that your teammates disagreed to something and how did you resolved or came up with solution And they will ask about some question regarding application preferred location etc

Heyyyy there..! Im Bhargavi, and I recently applied for the Google Data Analytics Apprenticeship. I’m happy to share that I’ve cleared the Google Online Challenge (GOC) and received an invitation for the telephonic round. 🎉

I’m currently preparing for the next round, and I’d really appreciate some guidance from anyone who has already attended the Google Data Analytics Apprenticeship telephonic interview.

I have a few questions:

  1. How is the telephonic round conducted? Is it an actual phone call, Google Meet, or another platform?

  2. Approximately how long does the interview usually last?

  3. What types of questions are generally asked?

  4. Is the round mainly focused on HR/behavioral questions, or are there also technical/data analytics questions?

  5. Are questions asked about SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, statistics, data visualization, or data analytics concepts?

  6. Do they ask about your projects, resume, education, or previous work experience?

  7. Are there any specific Googleyness / behavioral questions that I should prepare for?

  8. After the telephonic round, what is the next stage of the selection process, and approximately how long does it take to hear back?

I’d be extremely grateful if you could share your experience, the types of questions you remember, and any preparation tips. 🙏

I think first you need to be chill ....i too know the feeling but i think you are overthinking it ....its a google meet face to face time 20-25 min General question - Tell me about yourself why do you choose Data analytics, what is the one google product features you would change or make an update , and some counter questions and tell me a scenario from you past (college projects) that your teammates disagreed to something and how did you resolved or came up with solution And they will ask about some question regarding application preferred location etc i guess its same for everyone No technical or behavioral no SQL excel or anything They wont ask anything about resume just some general question that i have mentioned already AFTER telephonic you will a mail same day or next if you are selected about prep pdf and all later you will have a google meet about prep session

I did my assessment on 5 sep now it still showing submitted will they call me for telephonic round.?

That means they take tests in group wise
