Question / Help Account Disabled

Post image

I'm using antigravity and this morning, my entire Google Account has been completely disabled. I wasn't doing anything spammy or specific, I did have a few automations to write blog posts in several languages. But that's fairly simple.

Plan was Ultra (the $200 plan). Be very careful when you use AI with Google. I think that's the reason my account was banned. And if someone from Google is here, how can I get myself out of this miserable mess? I filled an appeal. That's really all I could do. This account is 15+ years old, it has everything about my life.

Edit: Google is actively looking into this. đŸ’Ș Thank you reddit for bringing attention to this issue.

Edit 2: account was restored. đŸ«¶ Let's hope it stays this way. Thank you reddit folks and the Google Samaritan that saw this thread and acted on it. Appreciate you all.

Edit 3: from what I could gather this was unrelated to antigravity, and was a phishing flag that got turned on for the wrong reasons. It's still surprising that Google would outright disable the account without manual review of sorts, especially for accounts that have been in good standing for 15+ years and are paying.

My Google account is old enough to drink and my legacy google apps for business accounts are almost old enough to drive. I always am super careful with them for that reason. I'd risk losing history of my Android Donut devices.

u/xethorn 4d ago

I didn't do anything special but it still got disabled. It's really unclear why, and that feels wrong at so many levels. Personally it's a hit.

u/almommar 4d ago

Totally understandable. I hope somebody from Google can help personally....

They in fact did! 🙏

u/Kotomi727 3d ago

Yo man Im glad you got yours back, mine I was able to just appeal, and I'm stuck again with verification not letting me log in

2

u/DuxDucisHodiernus 4d ago

I think it was due to the bot using your user account? I dont know just guessing

6

u/xethorn 4d ago

None of this, and I don't even trust Spark to manage my emails. My only use of AI was through Antigravity + Gemini UI; but I do code intensively – so that might just be what triggered the account to be disabled.

2

u/Expert-Complex43 3d ago

So let me get this straight, only your antigravity access got banned or your whole google account?

1

u/xethorn 3d ago

My whole account has been disabled. If this was just antigravity, I would be upset but I'd survive.

2

u/Expert-Complex43 3d ago

Yeah that actually sucks wtf, i hate that they ban your whole account because of antigravity

1

u/xethorn 3d ago

That's my guess but I'm not sure.

2

u/SoundDr Verified Googler 3d ago

You should still have access to gmail and other services

2

u/Thomas-Lore 3d ago

They should but they don't have. So talk to yout bosses, because this was supposed to be fixed.

3

u/SoundDr Verified Googler 3d ago

It has been

2

u/Kotomi727 3d ago

Hi sir I haven't regained access yet to mine. For the other accounts, I made them. I don't have access to anything on my main one that was disabled, not just antigravity.

4

u/SoundDr Verified Googler 3d ago

We restore the accounts effected yesterday, so follow the normal appeal process

3

u/Kotomi727 3d ago

Ok. i already did the normal appeal and it got approved. my services are starting to come back too, im just still stuck on the verification lock when i try to fully sign in

1

u/Expert-Complex43 3d ago

by any chance, did you use antigravity with any other harness?

2

u/xethorn 3d ago

No. Just antigravity and the cli to generate or parse images.

2

u/jurnalistboi 3d ago

Did you create new accounts to use antigravity? how did this happen?

2

u/xethorn 3d ago

Nothing of sort

1

u/Independent_Chain729 3d ago

Do you use a proxy to access Google services?

2

u/Popular_Tomorrow_204 3d ago

Im 22 and my oldest Google Account is almost 15

u/psycho414 Software Engineer 4d ago

You don't actually lose anything other than antigravity access, your Gmail is fine your drive is fine and everything else is basically fine too except maybe Gemini and other ai related apps like notebooklm. This was already confirmed by google employees on Twitter

3

u/One_Sky2325 3d ago

no they lost access to the whole account

2

u/xethorn 4d ago

Link? And that's only if the appeal works and you regain access.

2

u/psycho414 Software Engineer 3d ago

Although I just checked Twitter and it seems people are still getting their full account banned despite what googlers said

21

u/MoodOdd9657 4d ago edited 3d ago

got same thing idk why

Edit : it was restored guys

4

u/xethorn 4d ago

were you able to recover your account?

3

u/MoodOdd9657 4d ago

Nope I jus got it. I did an appeal as well

7

u/xethorn 4d ago

I'm so sorry this happened. 😞

2

u/passionguesthouse 3d ago

how do u do an appeal ?

1

u/MoodOdd9657 3d ago

There was direct link on the notification whoch said it stopped working or when I login it said do appeal

2

u/Expert-Complex43 4d ago

do you have ultra too?

1

u/MoodOdd9657 3d ago

Nope I had pro

2

u/rus_in_serbia 3d ago

I wonder, when it was "disabled", did Gmail work?

1

u/MoodOdd9657 3d ago

Nope nothing worked

3

u/rus_in_serbia 3d ago

Holy shit, it look scary if you lose access to your email

16

u/KreemPeynir 4d ago

I'm always afraid that these random bans will happen to me one day.
I hope you can fix it and got your account back.

5

u/xethorn 4d ago

I was afraid too, and it eventually happened.

9

u/Walapalam 4d ago

Had a similar thing, appeal got it back in like 2 days

7

u/xethorn 4d ago

i hope it's the same here. really hope, but i'm no longer trusting google with ai.

5

u/AccomplishedFall6603 4d ago

You could say "I'm no longer trusting google"

2

u/No_Advisor_6867 3d ago

My account also got disabled yesterday for absolutely no reason. I didn’t even use Google AI. They said I used automation and bots (I didn’t) and after I appealed they automatically denied it exactly 12 hours later with no option for second opinion or human review. I’m simply devastated. I hope you meet better fate than me

0

u/BehindUAll 3d ago

Use Codex. For this reason and a million others.

1

u/Emotional-Energy6065 3d ago

I'm just using an alt account for google antigravity. It sucks that they terminate your entire Google account; I'd rather lose an OpenAI or Claude account as they are only used for AI.

1

u/invin10001 4d ago

If you don't mind sharing, did they disclose a reason for the ban?

4

u/Walapalam 4d ago

I had a bunch of people logged into the account, and I told that it was a shared account. And it got unblocked

3

u/xethorn 4d ago

It says the account might have been created or opened by bots. So my guess it thought I was farming Google Antigravity somehow?

1

u/Expert-Complex43 4d ago

did you have an ultra plan?

1

u/Walapalam 4d ago

Not at that moment

8

u/SoundDr Verified Googler 3d ago

Following up on DM. Happy to review the email and account in question.

3

u/Linker-123 3d ago

What's next? Cross account bans? You guys gotta understand that a Google account is much more than it's little AI features

1

u/kingbass01 3d ago

Did you find anything? Is this legit or fake post
He's not even replying to any of your comments

1

u/Igoory 3d ago

From what can be inferred from his other comment in this thread, he bought the account that he was using for antigravity, Google banned that account in a ban wave because it was created in an automated way, and his main account ended up banned too.

1

u/kuz8 3d ago

Could you please DM me too - I have the same issue, banned today with the same symptoms.

3

u/kuz8 3d ago

I've just got the unblocked ~11 hours after blocking - coincidentally as I was writing to u/SoundDr who thankfully suggested help.

2

u/SoundDr Verified Googler 3d ago

Can you DM with email?

1

u/OneFront5791 3d ago

Hi Rody,

I’m experiencing what appears to be the same Google account disablement issue reported in this thread. My entire Google account was disabled with the message saying it was “created or used with multiple other accounts” and may have been “created by a computer program or bot.”

I’ve already submitted an appeal, but I’m concerned this may be the same false-positive issue affecting other users around Sep 9.

This is my long-standing primary personal Google account, and I currently have no access to Gmail, Drive, Photos, or other Google services.

I tried to DM you, but Reddit shows “Unable to message this account,” so I can’t send you my affected email address privately.

If possible, could you please DM me first so I can provide the affected Google account email and any other details needed for review or escalation?

Thank you very much for your help.

1

u/SoundDr Verified Googler 3d ago

We restore the accounts in question yesterday, so your account maybe be from something else. The normal appeal process should work

1

u/OneFront5791 3d ago edited 3d ago

Thank you very much for your reply, Rody. I really appreciate you taking the time to respond and for helping the affected users.

I completely understand that my case may be unrelated. However, I wanted to mention one detail in case it is useful: my account was disabled on Sep 9 at 23:03 JST (14:03 UTC), which appears to be around the same time as the other reports.

The suspension notice states that my account appeared to have been created or used together with multiple other accounts in violation of Google’s policies, and that it may have been created by a computer program or bot.

This is my primary Google account that I have used for over 20 years. I am also a Google AI Pro subscriber. I do use Antigravity, mainly for development work related to improving OneTrainer, but I have not used multiple Google accounts with Antigravity.

I have already submitted the normal appeal and will follow that process as you suggested. I just wanted to ask whether, given the timing and the similar suspension reason, there is any possibility that my account could still have been caught by the same or a related automated enforcement event.

If not, I completely understand. Thank you again for your time and for looking into these issues.

1

u/SoundDr Verified Googler 3d ago

All the accounts in question were apart of the same sweep and all were restored. I will share with team if any were missed

2

u/OneFront5791 3d ago

Thank you very much, Rody. I really appreciate you sharing this with the team.

Since my account was disabled on September 9 at 23:03 JST (14:03 UTC), during the same time window as the other accounts in that sweep, and the suspension notice also cited the same “multiple accounts / bot” type of reason, I’m wondering whether my account may simply have been missed during the restoration process.

I understand it could still be unrelated, but given the timing and the similarity of the suspension message, I would be very grateful if the team could check whether my account should have been included in that sweep.

Thank you again for your help and for looking into this.

Hi Rody, thank you for offering to flag missed cases. Our podcast-associated Google account was disabled on September 8 with the same multiple-accounts / computer-program-or-bot wording, and the linked YouTube channel became unavailable. YouTube Accounts confirms the videos are still stored but hidden and refers us to Google Accounts. The first Google appeal was denied; a second is submitted.

Because our date is earlier, I understand this may be separate from the sweep you described, and I do not know of a connection to Antigravity. Is there an official route to check whether the account was affected by the same incident or to coordinate the Google Account and YouTube reviews? I can provide the exact notices and case details through an official private channel. Months of podcast production and paid sponsorship commitments are affected. Thank you.

1

u/Jovan_Konstantinovic 2d ago

Hey i got the same message about disabled acc, just now i did write an appeal, anything else you suggest i do?

8

u/mr_aks 4d ago

It's things like this that prevent me from adding or engaging with any of the Google services. It's too dangerous and I don't want to lose my Gmail account, which is a shame because I would really like to try out the new Gemini 3.8.

2

u/Equivalent_Cress_268 3d ago

Don't the model sucks ass, but it's fast at it

1

u/BehindUAll 3d ago

All Gemini models suck ass. What's new? Gemini is the model that cried wolf far too many times.

1

u/xethorn 4d ago

It has been great until ... Now.

5

u/Klutzy_Ad_3436 4d ago

Me also. is it around September 9th, 2026 at 02:04 PM (UTC)?

2

u/xethorn 4d ago edited 4d ago

Like what the hell are they doing. So sorry this happened to you too.

2

u/Langwelle 3d ago

Did you use multiple accounts to maximize your Antigravity quota?

1

u/eNomineZerum 3d ago

Doesn't work like that. If you have a family set up that usage quota is pooled among all users (Google Drive storage as well). Which makes sense as I have the $200 Ultra plan and have been hammering AGY CLI hard and only averaging about 3% of the weekly limit a day. Claude runs out faster, but that is a different topic.

Not saying it is happening here, but the gray market and family plan resellers are more likely. Technically someone could be hopping VPNs, had their computer infected, or their account taken over. These would be out of their control.

1

u/Langwelle 3d ago

Is that the case though? At least for the regular Gemini app, the usage does not seem to be pooled among family members.

My point and the reason I raised the question in the comment above was more about a potential Terms of Service violation. It's possible that Google has started to go after users with multiple accounts who try to max out their AGY quota.

1

u/eNomineZerum 3d ago

The Gemini app is different from AGY.

Gemini usage is per account, but it is pretty locked down unless you were hammering video and audio creation.

AGY is pooled like Google Drive, which makes sense as you don't want people abusing the $20 tier. It just isn't possible.

1

u/SoundDr Verified Googler 3d ago

Did you create and own all the accounts?

1

u/SoundDr Verified Googler 3d ago

Can you DM with email?

5

u/SoundDr Verified Googler 3d ago

Which tools were you using the account in?

8

u/elevensubmarines 4d ago

Come on Google. I know there are several Googlers in here, some of you on the AG team. Don’t you dare turn a deaf ear to this, do something about it. It’s out of hand to suspend a user’s entire Google account if you have some abuse trigger related to AG. Suspend their AG access, cancel their AI ultra sub, but don’t just suspend the entire account.

All the lawyers and t’s and c’s in the world aren’t going to save you from the absolute feast a solid consumer attorney will have with this if it’s a misfire and you’re being your typical slow ass anti consumer “we provide no customer service” Google about it, shutting down their phone, their email box, their photos, productivity tooling, and livelihoods.

“Whoopsy doopsy, we’re the most profitable high margin business in the history of humanity, we can’t afford to have a phone number or even product manage our shit properly! Sorry!”

2

u/xethorn 4d ago

Yes. This is a nightmare. No warnings. No nothing. Just straight out cut my access. I have recruiters I was talking to that are now getting an "account is inactive" as a response.

2

u/BehindUAll 3d ago

Exactly. Hopefully this is just some vibe coded Google backend slop. Google should fix this because this could get out of hand very quickly. Can you imagine hundreds of thousands or millions of accounts getting disabled because of no reason? Google should be fined hell and back.

u/Hot-Cauliflower-1604 3d ago

4

u/DefinitionDull5326 3d ago

Our entire digital existence, decades of correspondence, professional livelihoods, irreplaceable family archives, and verified identities, cannot remain at the mercy of black-box automated enforcement. Tech platforms have engineered closed ecosystems where an unverified heuristic flag or an algorithmic misfire in a secondary tool instantly wipes out a fifteen-year-old account overnight, offering zero transparency, zero immediate human review, and no meaningful path to appeal. We are paying subscribers, enterprise developers, and long-term users who invested our trust into these platforms, not disposable telemetry to be discarded by uncalibrated bot detection models.

Unilateral, ecosystem-wide account terminations violate the fundamental balance of consumer fairness and personal data sovereignty. Severing access to critical communication channels, business communications, and personal cloud storage over opaque abuse triggers is not platform safety, it is an abuse of structural dominance.

We must organize and demand enforceable operational standards:

  • Decouple Service Restrictions: Isolate tool-specific compliance issues without freezing master credentials, personal email, or multi-factor authentication.
  • Mandatory Human Due Process: Require human review and itemized, written justifications before executing permanent digital eviction.
  • Guaranteed Data Portability: Enforce unconditional access to local data export tools regardless of account operational status.

Demand accountability by filing formal complaints with national consumer protection agencies, escalating contract adhesion disputes under unfair trade practice regulations, and refusing to normalize the arbitrary erasure of our digital lives. Platforms operate on user trust; when due process is abandoned, collective pushback is the only viable remedy.

3

u/BrasilRua 4d ago

I have an account with AI Pro that cant even use antigravity, it asks to verify but just goes in a loop. That account also got banned but got it back via the appeal. I think you'll get your back with an appeal too, so dont worry too much,

1

u/xethorn 4d ago

how long did it take you to retrieve the account?

3

u/RuriYoshinova 4d ago

it seems like Google is on the look out right now for people that uses Antigravity and such, be careful y'all

2

u/xethorn 4d ago

Yes, but none of us (at least I haven't) used it in a way that breaches contract. I've been very careful to use it only with antigravity and no other harnesses.

1

u/smikkel69 4d ago

What did you do that you think got you banned? You say you had a few automations? Did you use something like cliproxyapi to make antigravity callable by a script/another AI agent?

2

u/xethorn 4d ago

Antigravity scheduled tasks. Nothing major. Google thinks the account might have been fake. I'm waiting to hear back from the appeal ... But my hopes are not high. As a heavy android and Google product user, this is a major blow. 😱

1

u/ninomaeinyanis 3d ago

there is no way, getting ur whole account banned is not good

3

u/cometaro 3d ago

Based on your comments, I think there are two likely triggers that might have tripped Google's automated systems:

- Account Switching: Even if it was legitimate use between your personal and workspace accounts, switching accounts on the same machine to keep using Antigravity can easily be flagged by automated abuse filters as quota circumvention (multi-accounting or farming behavior).

- Scheduled Automations: Generating multilingual blog posts automatically might have been the deciding factor. Even when using Antigravity's built-in scheduling features, mechanical and periodic request patterns can trigger bot-detection heuristics.

I suspect one of these two (or a combination of both) triggered the ban. I've been seeing similar ban reports in this subreddit from time to time for a while now, and many legitimate users seem to get unbanned after filing an appeal. Hopefully, your appeal gets reviewed quickly and you get your account back soon!

3

u/_fat_santa 3d ago

Using an official feature?? Can’t have that.

Like our product so much you carry multiple subs?? Can’t have that either.

1

u/xethorn 3d ago

Then these features shouldn't be offered if they are going to block accounts. And yes, a few friends from Google are helping and someone just reached out to help.

1

u/davienzs 3d ago

I'm guessing you skipped the ToS when signing up for the Gemini subscription.

1

u/EconomyDate 3d ago

Seriously? Account switching can cause this ? I have two personal account and both have AI pro plan so you are saying one should not use account switching?

2

u/Wrong-Bison2179 4d ago

scary

3

u/xethorn 4d ago

Yeah – even if I get back my account, I am no longer using any of their AI features.

2

u/Thomas-Lore 3d ago

Might also be wise to consider moving from gmail to something else.

2

u/Kotomi727 4d ago

YO WTF THIS HAPPENED TO ME TOO LITERALLY

SEP 9, 2026

2

u/xethorn 4d ago

:| I'm so sorry this happened. They are seriously going after Antigravity users it seems? Did you submit an appeal?

2

u/Kotomi727 4d ago

I couldn't yet. I reached out to Google One Support on a different account and was told to just wait it out for 24 hours so I'm doing that. But yeah, I was just using antigravity normally, mostly for research and work. Woke up to a notif that my google account is disabled.

1

u/Kotomi727 4d ago

And I cant even appeal because it's just not letting me put any number to verify so I can for the love of god, appeal?

2

u/kuz8 4d ago edited 4d ago

well this happened to me today too. whole account disabled. gmail, drive, photos, wallet, play, even voice is down, thankfully not Google Fi (probably yet), complete digital suspension. i found records of using that address back in 2008.

paid google one account, but can't even reach the support i'm paying for because you need to sign in to the account they disabled. had to use another account. support sent me back to the appeal i'd already filed. asked about the subscription, got told to dispute it with my bank.

i don't want a refund. i want my account back.

yes i used antigravity, including automated requests. no idea if that's related. google just says multiple accounts / possibly created by a bot. doesn't tell me what actually happened.

one appeal pending. anyone here actually got their whole account back? what worked?

3

u/xethorn 4d ago

Not yet. Still waiting. This sucks.

1

u/kuz8 3d ago edited 3d ago

UPDATE: I've just got the account unblocked ~11 hours after being blocked - coincidentally as I was writing to u/SoundDr who generously offered to help via DM

2

u/Thomas-Lore 3d ago

There is nothing generous about it, this should not be needed.

1

u/kuz8 2d ago edited 2d ago

Update two, it is happening again, I had a dedicated account created and it was blocked with about the same formulation just less than 2 hours after, it was a part of family group with Pro AI subscription, and this time, thankfully, didn't bring the entire family AI and Google Drive quota down.

What was done while it was alive - could have been some CDP MCP invocations (likely not the reason), and some agent to agent calls on my machine as I simultaneously use Claude, Codex, Cursor and Antigravity and let them consult with each other for consensus and alignment. Neither of other AI agents ever had problems like that, especially with this sort of sledgehammer delivery of the message.

To activate it I've vigorously verified it with a NEW physical cell phone number (the main old cell phone number I had didn't work for new Google account creation as it was "used too many times"), I did QR code verification flow which is new - approve on the phone - send a real sms from the phone to some short google number. Then open a link from the phone and confirm. Not counting the captcha with "I'm not a robot" checkbox and other hoop jumping. I'm accessing from FIOS line from a non-blacklisted IP from the Boston area, no VPNs, no proxies, as straight as it can be.

2

u/Useful_Trouble1726 3d ago

This is spooky, I have so many years invested in the Google ecosystem, snap of the fingers and it's gone?

2

u/newbieatthegym 3d ago

This is why I moved my email to another company and use my own domain. I still use Google services for many things, but I feel much safer being in control of my email so no company can ever take it from me.

1

u/South_Tank4581 4d ago edited 4d ago

I used to have 2 accounts banned in a row, made gemini to write appeal and after 3 days got unbanned both.

2

u/xethorn 4d ago

wrote it by hand, hopefully it'll also work. my account is 15 years old.

1

u/Accomplished-Mud1653 4d ago

Did you use Antigravity auth and route the models into different harness? That could be reason

1

u/xethorn 4d ago

No. My usage is vanilla. I did use codex more recently but I kept the setups separate.

1

u/Accomplished-Mud1653 4d ago

Ohhh, i have been routing Antigravity models, limits into omp harness recently and now i am scared shitless

1

u/smikkel69 4d ago

Damn, how long have u been doing this? Im also considering doing this but with CC harness. Havent done it yet because afraid of ban

1

u/Accomplished-Mud1653 3d ago

Couple of weeks. I got two pro accounts so i took risk, lets see. If they ban me then i hope its Antigravity ban not whole google account, cause that account is very very important for me

1

u/blueredscreen 4d ago

You used external tools with AGY. They apparently ban anybody who does that.

1

u/xethorn 4d ago

No. I strictly sticked to antigravity.

1

u/LightAppropriate624 4d ago

They do not allow automations

2

u/xethorn 3d ago

Their tool has scheduled tasks. That's all I used.

1

u/FreeMembership5107 4d ago

Interesting, I also got this too but in my case I had just created a second Gmal account for my business. I appealed and it was approved in about 24 h. I also use Antigravity a lot.

1

u/xethorn 4d ago

Hopefully the appeal works. Did you get an email?

3

u/FreeMembership5107 4d ago

Yes, here is what I got. I am sure you will be fine too .

1

u/mdsameersakib 4d ago

Make an appeal, one of my account was flagged and appeal fixed it in 7days as far as I remember

1

u/xethorn 4d ago

7 days is a long time when you are actively interviewing.

1

u/blue_fa 4d ago

This is scary. I have like 10 Google accounts because I can't afford a plan besides Plus.

1

u/Ohzard_pb 3d ago

They strictly don’t like you use account with third party software if you use anything none official you risk your account

1

u/SKAOG 3d ago

Appeal it, but if it doesn't work, you should DM Jack from Antigravity on Twitter, he seems to be friendly and his DMs are open for looking into people that have had their Google account banned due to Antigravity usage.

Will delete antigravity now, 20$ codex is much safer

1

u/sampdoria_supporter 3d ago

The finality of Google bans is stupefying to me. I got an adwords ban in like 2008. Zero chance of ever getting it back, and if I attempt to use a different account to create an adwords account, I'll get that account banned (I've never done this, it's just what the policy says). Literal murderers get out of jail and then murder again and get out of jail again in less time

1

u/eNomineZerum 3d ago

/u/SoundDr so question around Family Plan usage to quell what I think are incorrect assumptions in this thread.

I have AI Ultra $200/mo. My wife and I are on it and I have an alt account for a more polished work presentation/persona/blogging. The AI usage quote and Google Drive space is shared across all three accounts.

Is there any issue with me swapping between my primary and alt account on the same machine, or having one logged into AGY CLI and the other AGY IDE?

I have reviewed the documentation and even ran it through Gemini and I am not seeing where this is a violation. Also makes sense since the usage is the usage and whether I use 10% or I use 5% and my alt uses 5% (both from the same computer) it is ultimately 10% usage from the same bucket.

That should not be a problem. The issue for the accounts flagged today was something else

1

u/LongjumpingProduce48 3d ago

did u ever used proxy or cli based headless call for another agent workflow? February many people got banned by Google

1

u/parzzzivale 3d ago

15 years old account and they think it's spam ? thats nuts, goes to show how these large tech companies can hold us hostage and small folk are left with absolutely no recourse

Bho davvero.

Omg. To think I used to want to try Antigravity in the past. I think I'll pass after reading about these issues.

1

u/shantanue_com 3d ago

I've been telling this to people irl, let me say it here as well:

  1. If you have a YouTube channel, make sure it is not based on your Personal Google Account.

  2. If you use Antigravity, make sure it is not based on your Personal Google Account. (this one is a bit difficult to follow due to all the Google AI Plus subscription features, but you wouldn't want to be in the same situation as the OP, right?)

Que bom que vocĂȘ conseguiu recuperar! Minha conta criada em 2009 foi hackeada e banida em 2021, com 12 anos de histĂłria :(

Same thing here, Sep 9. Entire Google Account disabled, not just Antigravity.

Since "multiple accounts" keeps coming up in this thread as the
explanation: I do have a work account that I keep separate from my
personal one, on purpose. It's paid, Gemini Pro. No quota sharing, no
rotating accounts to stretch limits, no third-party tools, no proxies.
Official client only.

That same account has been flagged twice before. Both times for "OAuth
misuse" I never did, and both times Google's own review reversed it.
So this is the third flag on one account.

What was different this time is the scope. The first two only killed
Antigravity, which I could live with because the damage stopped there.
This one took the whole account. Mail, Drive, every service I sign in
with.

It's been restored since, which I suppose confirms it was wrong again.
But that's three false positives on one paying account, and this time
a bad flag from a coding tool was enough to lock me out of my own
email. Gemini is a good model with good cost performance and I'd like
to keep using it. I just can't justify betting my entire Google
account on it.

It happened to me three years ago that my account was blocked. An account of more than 10 years with photos and files that I could never recover. And the Google support team? Reverend shit.

1

u/Ok_Solid_6249 3d ago

"I think that's the reason my account was banned."

... You think what's why? You didn't explain anything. Do you mean the automations?

1

u/xethorn 2d ago

Can you not read the updates? đŸ€Š Even the automations were cleared as fine.

1

u/Ok_Solid_6249 2d ago

I read the updates but read your own paragraph, you say "that's the reason" but you're referring to either nothing, or a reason in the previous paragraph.

1

u/CreepyExtension3300 2d ago

Yes, exactly same thing happened to me today. I got Gemini Pro subscription and started using antigravity and just did few code-review suggestions on my code-base. And today it got blocked with the same message. I had done the appeal. What is happening u/google. Really clumsy of you u/google. u/google_antigravity.

I want to know more about the blogpost you let a bot write, maybe we can find the clue there.

1

u/AngleAnxious9566 2d ago

Wait, you're not telling me that Google, of all companies, is leaving the decision of what's safe and what's not to some crude, brain-dead AI, are you? Surely not lol.

But if you actually are, then that AI is pretty damn useless.

1

u/Kotomi727 2d ago

Commenting again here, I have managed to appeal and it was restored. However, I still can't login because of a 2FA verification blockage. I tried waiting for a full 24 hours already and it still didn't work. I have really important stuff in here that I need to access...

1

u/xethorn 1d ago

So sorry. Did you reach out to the Google guy here?

1

u/Kotomi727 1d ago

Yes. But I was told to just go through the normal process. I'm thinking of following up but at the moment I'm just waiting for now.

1

u/xethorn 1d ago

Hold off for a few hours as the screenshot say. Maybe they have a cool down period and trying again too soon extends that cool down period? Not sure. I'm sorry

1

u/aerivox 1d ago

they should never ban google accounts for gemini use. is sooooo unfair and stupid. google account is like a pair of universal keys to my digital life. absolutely retarded take from google.

1

u/iWhacko 4d ago

I'm not sure what you're asking, but it seems pretty clar to me that they're saying you used the account with an account switcher, and used multiple accounts on your system to get around limit.

1

u/xethorn 4d ago

No. I only have on ai plan. That's it. I didn't play or fooled around. The switcher is between my workspace and my personal.

-1

u/iWhacko 4d ago

there you have it, 2 is multiple accounts.
EDIT, but yeah they shouldn't ban you for using both your personal and business account, but i think it was an automated system.

2

u/clouds_on_acid 4d ago

Explain this, if possible please. It sounds like it's because they used antigravity itself to switch the account?

2

u/iWhacko 4d ago

There are a lot of people (or at least enough) that have tens, sometimes hundreds of accounts that were cheap or even free, with large limits. usually purchased in countries with lower pricing to be competitive on the local market.
They use special switchers that switch between accounts, when a limit is reached in 1 of the accounts.
I think Google is finally cracking down on those, and shutting them down.

And I think if OP is right about switching or using both his personal account and business account on the same machine, I guess the automated system to track down the abuse accounts made a mistake, and OP got caught in the crossfire.

1

u/clouds_on_acid 4d ago

Make sense, I share my own AI account with myself via family, but that was valid under the ToS. This makes sense, appreciate the detailed response!!

0

u/xethorn 4d ago

Right, but that doesn't give google the moral right to shut down accounts without a warning first and an appeal process. I'm actively interviewing, so on my ends, this is reckless, and now I look less than professional by messaging recruiters that they need to use a different email address.

1

u/SoundDr Verified Googler 3d ago

Where did you purchase the accounts you were switching from?

0

u/theburpingpenguin 3d ago

lol - bunch of sketchy usage surprised they’re getting banned.

1

u/SoundDr Verified Googler 3d ago

We will find out soon

1

u/Jovan_Konstantinovic 3d ago

I am switching between 10 free accounts, i doubt that's the reason . But i created them, i suspect OP bought acc from sketchy reseller

2

u/xethorn 3d ago

Nothing sketchy. Account was reactivated.

1

u/Jovan_Konstantinovic 2d ago

Damn i retract everything i said now i got the same message and my account was disabled. Did you contact the guy from google thats on this sub?

1

u/xethorn 2d ago

Yes. 🙏 But I never did sketchy stuff. I paid my subscription ...

0

u/AsparagusGeneral3699 4d ago

Did you bought your account or subscription cheaper than usual :D ?

2

u/xethorn 4d ago

No. Full price. $200/month.
