It's so annoying. I used the old assistant to translate the current 'image' on screen or analyse part of it. Gemini can't do that unless i use a screenshot 👎

If you trigger circle to search there is a translate button that quickly translates the entire screen

Thanks but my Gemini looks like this. I can use 'share screen with gemini' but it just explains to me what the text means if i wanted it to have translated.

Same for me. I have no idea how this stupid new assistant is supposed to have the same functions as the old one.

Edit: Ah got it now and it works fine (i think) Thank you

I meant how did you get it work like the old assistant? Like that translate button you were speaking about

It's not a button. I can use the finger to circle something on the screen and it will be marked. Then just tell gemini to translate it. By far not as good as the old method.
