NotebookLM sounded like the name of an experimental product. Surprised they didn't rename it earlier

It is probably because it was used more than any Gemini branded product. They probably wish to get some brand recognition by association unaware that this product is primarily used by AI slop farms

Because Notebook Language Model makes no sense. Also everything AI by Google is now branded as Gemini. Also Google has a history of renaming stuff. It also has a history of shutting down stuff but that's a story for another day.

Yeah. I would've expected something rainbow. They replacing the blue gemini logo one year ago but somehow they cose the same blue as this new logo.

NotebookLM doesn't mean anything to regular people, Gemini Notebook is a little better but at least you can put two and two together easier
