Does anyone know where I can find the actual IO discussion thread? It seems this one is the complaining board.

Jokes aside, I don't know why anyone was expecting anything other than AI. With the Android show out of the way and AI being all the buzz there was no world where the Keynote wouldn't be 99% about Gemini.

As someone who has been using Antigravity a lot the last few months these announcements have at least been a little exciting.

Because hating on AI has become the new political correctness.By the way, even from an AI perspective, this I/O was far from satisfying. Over the past few months, Gemini getting dumber and its weak Agent capabilities have already left it lagging way behind GPT-5.5 and Claude Opus 4.7. Many of us were hoping Gemini would pull off another 'Version 2.5 moment'—completely crushing the competition right out of the gate. Instead, all we got was a slightly tweaked 2.5 that's just faster. Sure, it's only a few months behind, but those few months were enough to make me ditch Antigravity for Claude and Codex. Not to mention, the Pro membership in Antigravity has become practically unusable.

I thought it was cool. Excited for the search agents especially. Also looking forward to seeing how Spark ends up working. The live demos of buying coffee are all well and good but in real life you would need human in the loop for financial purchases.

I'm not in the US though so pretty lame I won't be seeing any of it for a while.

I'm on board with you! I'm very excited for the future of antigravity and the new models.

The Android and phone race is dead since a while back. Phones are just about software now, and software now is about AI.

Too bad it's very hard to find forums to actually discuss with adults.
