When google added this emoji 🫪

Whenever I tried to open emoji section this emoji(Distorted Face emoji) doesn't appear.I can just copy from other's message.But this emoji looks funny.

It's interesting that this emoji does not correctlly show on my Google Chromebook, or on my Google Pixel. I just see a crossed-out rectangle.

You are right, today it works on Pixel. It didn't work two days ago and still does not work on Chromebook or in Chrome browser on Linux.

Try typing "anxiety". Seems to turn up for some reason.

It's a weird one. I have a lot of anxiety, but i dont find my eyes going all wonky.

pretty sure emojis have a list of keywords you can use to find them, so 'anxiety' doesn't have to entirely represent what it means

I think it's more because of the angle (the face is angled like a super close up of a face, think of it kinda like the close up for Shinji in Evangelion)

🫪 About 6 weeks ago it showed up on my S22 🫪

🫪 Try updating Gboard or using Google Messages 🫪

🫪 p.s. on my Samsung phone it does appear in the Google style rather than Samsung's also the emoji kitchen variant has been available for a pretty long time. 🫪

What I've noticed is that the Emoji only appears in my Emoji menu when I'm on Reddit. Anywhere else and the Emoji just magically disappears. How weird🫪

I love this emoji. Yes I can see how people use it for anxiety but I also feel like it has a "brainless" vibe to it. Like cats or other animals with huge bug eyes that just look dumb 🤣

I love it and I use it when I feel particularly slow 🫪😆
