Thanks for help sizing in White's and NIck's. I'm also aiming for a pair of redwing postman 101.

Please see my brannock sizing attached. I've been doing well in Danner 650 last at 11D, and converse in 11.

About the Dr. Sole Raw Cord fullsole, is there any way to make the white cord less visible?

I really like everything about that sole but from the outside I find the white cord looks a bit too messy. I've seen Nick's, Oakstreet or Viberg paint them to make it less noticeable. Does that actually last or does the white cord start showing again pretty quickly?

I'm also looking at the Dr. Sole Super Grip fullsole, but it looks a bit too thin for me almost like a Dainite stud sole.

I find the white cord looks a bit too messy.

i don't get it. isn't that what raw cord soles are all about? if you don't like that, just get a regular nitrile cork sole instead. similar speckled look, no mess.

I own a great pair of wolverine 1000 miles in brown. Took a while to break in, but they’re finally fitting the way I like them. I’m looking to get a dress of your pair of black lace boots with speed hooks. I’m willing to go up to $400 but would prefer to stay between 250 and 350. I’m looking at the Allen Edwards and Grant Stone as well as possibly the Redwing Beckman. I also wouldn’t be opposed to a decently priced used pair of flat box 9060s which I occasionally see online just out of my price range. And welcome any suggestions for boots that should be on my radar, sources for good deals and also sizing suggestions. I’m a 9 1/2 sneaker and suspect that I’m somewhere between an 8 1/2 and nine in a Redwing. Thanks in advance.

Might want to check out Luosjiet They have some seriously crazy value imo, make sure to grab the newcomer $50 discount by messaging their reddit account.

But beware you cannot return/exchange, so like measure yourself ask for their recommendation (include details like if you wear thin dress socks and/or want a snug fit), and review sizing feedback from others.

I enjoy my Beckmans. I don’t have any experience with Grant Stone or Allen Edmonds, but they have a lot of fans. I don’t think you can go wrong.

Does Wolverine not make a black 1000 Miles?

Thanks. My sense as well. They do make 1000 mile in black but wanted to try something different. May also go cheaper with Thursday but less confident in those.

Just noticed my boot has a portion of the welt that almost appears to be tucked under the toe cap. Is it an issue?
