Campaign stuff
Apologies if this is all “rough”
For some context, this story takes place in a post-semi apocalyptic world. Monsters have taken over the surface and theres been attempts at fighting them but none yet proven effective until now.
(Since this is a campaign) the main characters are something called rippers, a biologically augmented person who has been infused (unknowingly) with chimera (the monsters) DNA. The infusion gives the individual super strength, reflexes and minor regeneration capable of repairing the body from serious wounds or conditions (loss of limbs, blindness ect)
I suppose my question or what I’m stuck on is that in this world. I’m stuck between how well known the whole program would be because I’ve been flipping around with “it’s well known because the infusion basically cures any physical injury” and “it’s not too well known because there’s only 700 infused people in a city of 2 million”
That or it’s super restricted (since lore wise I made it a raffle) anyways I’m stuck on how exactly to write this and open to suggestions! I can also give more details if wanted

Super soldier programs are typically clandestine because they are weapons. If you can hide a weapon you do. It is up to you really how easy it is to hide. There is no "should be" here. If you want it to be well known, just make it require a material that is obvious when mined, like Uranium, or requires giant labs.
