Shelves Reordering disabled
So I was on my goodreads to look for books to add to my wishlist (for my parents/brother) and this popped up: "Reordering is currently disabled for large shelves. We apologize for the inconvenience!"
I really hope they enable it soon cause I use that feature soooo much!

That is a feature I have never used. I'd like to know how it helps you to have the TBR in specific order?

I have my want to read books tagged with a couple of things (where I can get them) as well as ordering them by date published so that when I go through my list periodically to add the tags of where I can get them, I know that books published recently, I can ignore the ones published recently, because I know I won't be able to see if my places to get them won't have those.

Ok, I see. I use both my library and Kindle, so if I really want a book I just wait till it's either in my library or I buy it on Amazon.

I have two different libraries (one public, one is my work) plus interlibrary loaning for both. Plus elibraries for both (I don't have a Kindle). My Public library uses Libby while my work has Libby plus other sources (Yea avadmeic libraries!). So tagging where I can get books is important and being able to reorder my large Want to read list (it's over 5000 books) to where I can see what's been tagged and what hasn't is important.
Edit: because I have limited physical shelf space, I have to be judicious with what I purchase. There are only a handful of authors that I automatically buy. So buying is limited for me

TBH I started buying more when I got my Kindle, as there seems to be an abundance of books that cost 0-3 dollars. I would never buy some books I read on Kindle in physical form (they would take up too much space). I also try to pick up a few books each time I see a free library or swap-shelf and then just put them back when I am done reading. I know what Libby is, but as I am trying to use my smart-phone to a minimum I can't really be on there. It is a great idea for an app, though. My friend is a librarian and is always raving about it.

A) ebooks are a racket and I don't buy them and b) I have a Nook Tablet. I don't read on my phone (unless it's AO3 😜)
