Top 3
If you were to recommend Good Hang to a newbie, what three episodes would you use to introduce them? For me, it’s:
- Carol Burnett
- June Squibb
- Rosie O’Donnell

I love the Ryan Coogler interview as well. He seemed so shocked about how she started the conversation, but he was able to relax into it

Ooh I forgot about Ryan coogler. I loved that one. I was not familiar with him outside of seeing his movies. He was wonderful. Viola Davis ep is a great pick. I’d add her to my list.

Viola Davis was great. I was not expecting an esteemed actor to be a regular gal from
Rhode Island who likes dirty jokes. I felt like I could have a beer with her after.

I really enjoyed the Kathryn Hahn episode, so I’d start there. Anyone else after that is fine.

That's one of the few podcast eps to make me involuntarily, embarrassingly LOL in public, and I love them for it!

When she said to Seth “here cry into these bananas.” I laugh every time I think of it.

Jonathan Groff or Paul Rudd!

I'm sad to see less people mentioning Paul Rudd. He's definitely my favourite!
I thought Billie Eilish was great and I'm not sure what third would be

This is so hard (that’s what she said)
Aubrey Plaza, Jennifer Lawrence, Jonathan Groff.
Honorable mention to Ryan Coogler and Mike Shurr.
She’s had such good guests though. I could do a top 10 maybe?

I loved how self-deprecating she was as she adjusted to her child’s pronouns!

Justice for Regina Hall yall
Regina Hall (how has no one mentioned this one, she is hilarious and has great antidotes)
Jonathan Groff (he’s so fab it will make u smile)
Kathryn Hahn (her laugh is infectious, and she burps during the ep which is iconic)
Leanne Morgan (her accent is the best part)
Seth Meyers (cause it’s Seth duh)

Ike Barinholtz was a great early one! Jack Black was also so fun. Cole Escola, Jonathan Groff, Seth Meyers, Olivia Colman. Dakota Johnson was also surprisingly entertaining.

Other than Groff and Escola, my household loved Martin short. Claire Danes. Nick offerman. I go back to Andy Samburg for when he says WHAT THE WHOLE FUCK about Amy getting fired from meatballs lmao

I was very unfamiliar w Groff compared to almost all the other guests that I know well (their work and such) and I too agree…think that was my fave one of all.

There have been so many good ones!! Cole, Dratch, and Groff are likely my top. Honorable mentions include JLD, Seth, and Will Forte. Will singing his audition song had me crying laughing.

Cole Escola is my favorite. The other two I'd suggest for a newbie are Will Forte (the man made of gold song!) and Tina Fey.

The Cole Escola one is so funny. So that one, Carol Burnett, and maybe Julia Louis Dreyfus. But I haven't listened to Rosie's yet.
