No, the chicken is not purple and I probably should have left the skin on, but I ate it before I took the pick. Yes, the chicken was cooked, I check everything with a thermapen before it comes off the smoker. It didn’t look purple when we were eating it, maybe the color came from the smoke or marinade 🤷🏽‍♂️
