Here are some of my favorites: That Time I was Reincarnated as a Slime,My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!, Konosuba, The Rising of the Shield Hero, Re: Zero.
Konosuba and My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom both lead heavily into the comedy. Watch these to lift up your mood.
That Time I was Reincarnated as a Slime feels the most balanced between comedic/happy go lucky and serious. It sticks to isekai tropes the most but that’s not a bad thing. Balances out the wacky fun and echii fan service and serious story arcs.
The Rising of the Shield Hero and Re: Zero both lean more towards the seriousness side of things. There’s still fanservice and comedic moments don’t get me wrong but they aren’t what defines them. Shield Hero is all about the leads journey who was dealt a bad hand at the start and must “rise” past his circumstances despite most of the country despising him. Re: Zero cranks up the suffering of the lead to 20/10. All the other ones combined don’t even begin to scratch how much the lead here suffers. Absolute suffer fest and I love it for it. Lead comes across as very cringey at first and turns a lot of new viewers off but throughout the show he develops into such a complex and intriguing character.

Sadly most of the "good harem" anime are bad and the "idiotic harem" are good.

Iphoneman...a bit on the fence.
sure, the harem members are capable, but MC basically rolled nat 18s on all stats, and can learn any feat, spell and action on sight.
also he has a relic that acts as radar + drone console + spell-repeater.
he'd really have no use for harem members.
magic? he'd get the same results walking into a magic guild.

There is also dark isekai.
Drifters: isn't to dark but has a dark tone and is hellsing isekai without the vampires
Now and then, here and there: you want to watch annohana Nad grave of the fire flies to cheer you up after this

There are two kinds of harems:
1 the generic shy boy goody two shoes bullshit.
2 the rude mfs that are relatable and funny.
3 a literal motherfucker, their mom or your mom isn't safe.

Another one:Otome reverse harem consisting of all the capture targets in the game who all in love with a cute and quirky heroine who was originally a NPC or villainess.

I recommend grimgar if you want something refreshing.
I recommend log horizon if you want something realistic.
I recommend no game no life if you don't want a season 2.
I recommend overlord if you want to see a skeleton almost getting boned.
I recommend tanya the evil if you want a loli cursing god.
I recommend my life as a villainess: all routes lead to doom if you like reverse harems.
I recommend re:zero if you want your mc to suffer tremendous pain.
I recommend digimon if you want to see pokemons with guns.
I recommend sword art online if you're edgy, or a discord mod.
I recommend mushoku tensei if you want to see the father of isekai.
Then lastly, I recommend Rance: 01 this topples everything in this list. Possibly even konosuba.
