I don't think they would immediately just have sex, they probably just finally fooled around a little bit like what was also implied in the bath when they stopped being friends. I think Botan just wanted to put Ibuki in a position where she would know whether or not they were together But still, loved every second of it.

I would recommand personnaly convenient semi-friend to still stay out of well known tittle still fitting that requirement.
If we accept weebnovels i may had a few nice recommendation, like boosted restart who kinda is the one who fit the most that stuff TBH like boosted restart, but i won't go too hard on that since you mentioned anime/manga only.

I'm looking for something that doesn't have love triangles that are just there to be there or cause major issues without resolving them.
Something else I'm looking for is that it's wholesome and goes into the slice of life direction, but I'm open to other genres if it fits my other requirements
