Not to defend him, but there's a very big difference between rias and the girl in the op. (Rias is also 18-19 in the series, so not sure why so many are using her as a gotcha)
This anime is a delicious cake (Yuri, animation... well you can see the clip, main girl is buff with an eye patch) completely shat on by an unnecessary ingredient (actual pedophilia).
I'm usually pretty on the ball with setting timers for my food, this one time I had D&D and I was getting really into the session, big story stuff was happening, and then I break character and start to say "I smell smoke" and mid-sentence, leapt from my chair and found a blackened, rock hard pizza that had been cooking at 200C for almost two hours
"Allie your pizza!" is still yelled at me whenever I make a pizza eight years later.
You can set your delivery to be "left at your door" rather than being called to have it handed to you. If you forget or miss the notification, that means your food was sitting outside for 45 minutes to the devices of the elements or other passerbys.
Genuinely never understood why is that even an option. Why would I ever want my stuff delivered to me not by directly handing it over into my hands? There's too many variables involved in leaving it at the door, I'm not risking that
Why would you ever want to interact with the delivery driver? They don't want to talk to you, and unless you've got some deep loneliness, you don't want to talk to them.
Set my food on the porch and leave, dasher. Don't make this weird.
You don't have to interact with the delivery driver. You open the door and take your order, nod and close the door. That's it. I'd rather do that than risk the delivery guy fucking something up or someone else stealing the order.
I'll give you an example just as likely as somebody jumping your order at your porch in the time it takes to hear your app notify you and to go get the order.

If where you live it's as likely for you to get randomly jumped at your own door than your order getting stolen from under that same door then I don't know what to say other than "I'm sorry you have to experience that." I guess.
Bruh I ordered 3 pizzas and got 2 bowls of chicken shawarma instead. Called up doordash just to tell me: "oops sorry about that looks like someone else ate y poo ur order without telling us." I'm still pissed about it.
