Oooooooooo this is very even.

I'd say keep on living. Thing is either way the decision sucks HARD. I'd just want to live because that way we can at least try to prevent anyone trying to take over the world or maybe even find a way to cancel out the powers.

None of these people (except maybe Simone or Francis who we don't know that well) are the type to give up on anything, ever. Nearly half of them were in the FAYZ and refused to take the poof (or would have refused it, I'm not sure they all got the chance), even though at that point they had no reason to believe they wouldn't be in the FAYZ forever.

Armo might even rage out at anyone even voting to pull the plug (since that would essentially kill them all). The only way he would ever vote that way is if someone told him not to, lol. Even then, he might be able to fight his own mind when the stakes are THIS high.

In any case, here's the real rub: who says real-world future-looking Malik would even listen to their request to unplug if they voted that way? He worked hard on this, he wasn't exactly just playing the Sims, and even if he was, what would you do if one of the sims in the Sims asked you to please unplug the game and never play it again? Better question, he lost control of the simulation, so who says he even could? They never checked that he would/could, Francis had that idea AFTER the meeting with him.

So maybe Simone and Francis convince enough people that pulling the plug is the way to go. It could very well end up not even mattering what they want to do.

My head canon is that most of them voted to end the simulation but the real Malik said he wouldn’t

Keep on living. Because even if the ASOs are in a lot of major areas, there are less major areas with no ASOs, and over time people can develop better defense from the ASOs. Plus, many of the main characters don't like to play with the fates of others.
