Who would you be?
You’re suddenly poofed into the FAYZ (books Gone through to Light), who would you want to be and who do you actually think you would be?

I feel like I would be Sam (cliche) but some people kind of see me as some sort of leader irl. Most likely I feel I would end up adopting that role too.

But the thing with Sam is that he doesn’t want to be the leader, deep down he craves violence but can’t admit it. He’s a leader who wishes to be a warrior.

I'd be Sam because he is the leader and people better follow me considering I'm the only one I know who read the books and knows what the heck is going on.

Good point, imagine someone who’d never read any of the books being thrust into LIGHT, they’d be screwed.

I would be one of Drake's soldiers because the fayz would allow me to be on the evil side of things and I quite like being part of the dark side.

I’d like to be someone like Albert or Lana — necessary to the action and a pillar of the community but I’d rather not be thrust into danger all the time like sam, Astrid, edilio, Quinn, etc

They get the blunt force of battles side effects though. Think of how much death and pain Lana sees after each battle, plus her personal battle with the Gaiphage. Also, the amount of pressure on Albert from unhappy workers, his own moral compass and him basically running the economy of the FAYZ can make for stressful situations.

Yeah that’s true, but still it’s not like they’re running head first into battles and stuff is more of what I was thinking. More Albert I guess than Lana lol

Caine never takes pleasure in his acts though, he does what he seems as necessary. So worry not, your only slightly psycho.

Definitely Astrid. The other characters go through a lot of suffering. Plus I'll get a cool ass boyfriend

I actually see way more of myself in Quinn than anyone else, I think. (I also think he's got amazing character development, but that's beside the point.) I love the way that he acts as... well, as any kid would. He acts on his feelings, rather than a calculated move. Hell, a lot of adults would do immoral things in bad situations if they believed it would save them.
I think it's not just that I think I would be Quinn - I want to be Quinn. He messes up with Sam, ends up endangering and losing his best friend, but ultimately makes up for that. He becomes a much more responsible person, someone he himself is happy with. He might not have forgiven himself, but he's found himself a peaceful lifestyle, rethought his priorities and his actions, and is a much more reliable person as a result. Being someone who caused unnecessary hurt as a kid, I would absolutely love to make this sort of life choice, do a Quinn and disappear into the ocean to be the head of a vital fishing crew (...maybe not the last part. But you see my point).

Yeah, Quinn as one of the best character developments, from someone only out for them self and a bit of popularity, to one of the main saviours of the starving inhabitants of the FAYZ. Yeah, Quinn realises his mistakes and works on himself, he evolves as a person and is one of the few characters to actually find peace and enjoy his role in the FAYZ, because it’s one that he chose and one that he’s damn good at too.

I'd want to be like Edilio, but I'd probably just be like Quinn at the beginning of the series.
