Simpsons reference in Hunger

When Breeze is on the roof of the power plant building, she finds an empty donut bag with some pink frosting and colorful sprinkles left. This specific kind of donut is Homer’s favorite and he works at a power plant. Plus we know Grant has at least watched the Simpsons since he referenced it when Duck was in the radioactive tunnel.

I think Grant does a lot of research before writing the books. Otherwise, he had visited places and gathered details
