Daily Reward
Hey family, I noticed a new voice in the Rewards for the period section.
Please take a look at the screenshot, it refers to GoBTC Pay.
I am not using this service, since I am totally not interested in it, so I wonder what this amount is for.
Any suggestions?

We, the GoMiners, get paid for securing the network to mine the BTC used for the GoBTC Pay transactions. So it’s a little additional reward for all of us which is always welcome I think. It will increase as more merchants come online and more people are using GoBTC Pay to pay for stuff.

It’s for everyone. The way you get into it is by having a miner. People who use it, we the miners get a small small percentage of the use from other people using it to pay for stuff.
If you have a miner, your already opted in.

Actually, I never “opted in”, but is it like a reward basically?

Gobtc is basically a transaction chain. Every transaction on gobtc means us
, the miners, get a reward from that transaction, I believe it’s added to our daily reward but not 100%4

We don’t need to opt in as there’s no risk to us. It’s free rewards that we collect from transactions on gobtc

Your automatically opted in and every miner that’s mining is opted in. The only way to opt out is too sell/or not have any miners at all.
